Zenzian Handcrafted Drums is a specialist drum builder focussing on high quality stave snare drums and drumkits. All of our stave snare drums and drumkits are handmade to the highest standard with the use of specialist mechanical equipment and traditional woodworking practices. Several Australian woods and Imported species are sourced primarily for their tonal characteristics. Other factors affecting wood species are density, stability, gluing ability, and also finishing and visual qualities. All of these factors when taken into close consideration result in drums of the finest quality both visually and more important tonally.
From the sourcing or the rough timber to the finishing of the drum! Our main goal is to create the highest quality custom drums possible. This has been achieved through input and control of all operations involved form the drying of the timber to the polishing of the bearing edges. The result has been the production of stave drums of the highest quality.
