Zenzian Handcrafted Drums is a specialist drum builder focussing on high quality stave (block) drums. All drums are hand made to the highest standard with the use of specialist mechanical equipment and traditional woodworking practices. Several Australian woods and Imported timbers are sourced primarily for their tonal characteristics. Other factors affecting wood species are density, stability, gluing ability, and also finishing and visual qualities. All of these factors when taken into close consideration result in an instrument of the finest quality both visually and more important tonally.
